About
Our one day Graphic Design workshop teaches the basics in Adobe Photoshop and Indesign all within a day. Throughout the course, step-by-step activities will help teach you all the tricks and tools to work correctly and easily across each program.
Once you’ve got the basics down pat, you will feel more confident applying your new skill set to a range of materials such as posters, design projects, books, blog posts and more. In addition, we offer helpful shortcuts that are used across the design industry to allow you to work efficiently and produce clean, professional work.
Our courses are also a great foundation of learning for high school and VCE students wanting to pursue a career in design.
Anita Calavetta
It all started at Swinburne University in Prahran. As soon as Anita stepped into a Communication Design lecture, she knew that she had found her niche. She couldn’t believe that her weeks could be spent indulging her inherent creativity, while learning practical skills that would allow her to design for a living.
By second year university, Anita had secured a junior role in a leading design agency. She worked around the clock while completing her studies and was soon promoted to be a mid-weight designer, where she worked on large design campaigns for premium international brands, such as Coca-Cola, Redken, L’Oreal and Johnson & Johnson.
Anita works as a freelance graphic designer based in Windsor, Melbourne. From branding to websites to publications and marketing collateral, she loves nothing more than starting with a blank page and creating something meaningful that helps brands connect with their audience.
